Anxiety on Vacation

As y’all might know, if you’ve read my little bio on here, I am a very anxious person. Because of this, trips and vacations can be a little daunting. Let me clarify-trips and vacations with my family can be daunting. Something about traveling with my friends doesn’t make me worry like traveling with my family does. I guess they’re my happy place or something cheesy like that. Needless to say, when I found out I would be going to the beach with my family and my brother-in-law’s mother at the end of June I was kind of terrified. You might be thinking, “Why would a relaxing beach trip ever be scary?” For one thing it was going to be Grace’s first actual vacation and 8+ hours in a car with a 3 year old isn’t my idea of fun. So here’s some tips I gathered from this excursion.

All About That Road-Trip Packin'

It's almost vacation season, y'all! For some of us DWIFOs that means flying across the Atlantic Ocean and for the rest of us it means driving halfway across the country. Regardless of where you're headed this summer, you're gonna have to pack. There's no avoiding it. For this month's post I decided to show you guys how I do it and what I like to bring with me. This is gonna be a doozy of a post so let's do this!

9 Tips for travelling with your friends.

Friendship is based on many things, In my case some of those things are boys, bands, boys in bands, and boybands, but along with all of that - My friendship with D W I F O is founded on a love of travel. Every single one of us want to see the world. Not in an ordinary "Oh! Lets go to PCB on spring break and get wasted" kind of travel, but an inherent need to see and experience as much as we possibly can - together. I mean we have to actually TRAVEL to each other just so we can hang out like normal friends. With all of the roadtripping we have done together - you could say that we have it down to a science.

That being said, this May we will all be taking amazing trips. Although our group will be split in half and seeing completely different parts of the world, I can guarantee that we will all be using some of the tips we have discovered to make sure our trips go off without a hitch.

Some of my go-to packing and travel tips will be listed after the cut!
